現在Klipsch更對於新購買或更換過的ProMedia 5.1提供延長保固期2年的免費服務Shortly after we introduced the ProMedia 5.1, some of our customers began experiencing problems with their systems. We were able to identify the causes as either a manufacturing process problem, which cracked an internal diode, or the failure of an internal hybrid transistor, or in some cases both. After hours of use at high volumes, these problems caused a loud, shrill sound during play, which sounds similar to air being slowly released from a balloon. It also caused the loss of one or more channels of output.
We immediately addressed the causes of these problems, but then discovered a secondary problem with a transistor. This either resulted in the loss of multiple satellite channels or the loss of the subwoofer channel. When correcting this "secondary" transistor problem, we made the error of combining its implementation with a few other "improvements." All changes combined resulted in an overload to a resistor and caused a total loss of sound from any channel.
